the roads coulden like from time to time. right now, let's get our morning traffic with amanda. >> thank you, jacqui. we're starting off this morning with very busy conditions through baltimore. if you know anyone who comes down through baltimore or up for the commute, we have a serious crash working. they are going to have both line lanes closed down. this kind was fuzzy, but you can see all the flashing lights and activity there on 95 just before 695, just before the baltimore beltway there. all lanes blocked southbound. northbound has the two left lanes closed so you're really backing up as you come down from baltimore. not too bad otherwise . we have a little activity heading to the map, that is near telegraph road and that is working, unfortunately, right there near telegraph road. that is is going to have a little bit of a shoulder closure as you come to the wilson bridge to the inner loop. moving nicely on the virginia

>> 4:46. new allegations of sexual abuse at a popular d.c. pool. children came forward with claims they were assaulted at the wilson pool in northwest d.c. last week, a woman told police she was raped for hours at that same pool. police not said if the cases are connected. if you have any information, you're asked to call d.c. supplies and 4:46. investigators are asking if a d.c. officer was running a sex

ring with underage girls. they found other girls who were used as prostitutes. >> a teacher accused of dui is currently out on administration leave. he tells us he drank tuesday night, forgot he had alcohol in a bag when he drove to work wednesday. a coworker suspected he was drunk. that led a school research officer to give a field sobriety test. >> i feel completely ashamed and i would like to apologize to all the cedar family members and also apologize to public schools. >> he is charged with dui, driving without a license and

possession of alcohol on school property. >> a d.c. man faces merely a dozen charges this what the washington humane society is calling one of the worst cases of animal cruelty it has ever seen. police believes charles palmer leaves on ames during much of this abuse. we have a happy ending for one of the animals that suffered at his hand. >> at first glance, porter looks like he's never had a care in the world. >> when you look closer, you see the scars, the injured foot and more. >> had to do 42 x-rays on him to get a look of what is broken inside. >> never seen a dog who was as badly injured as porter. >> we think there were at least two. >> porter and where you oh survived, three died, five are

unaccounted for. they believe some were kicked to death. neighbors say palmer moved out. >> i'm shocked because i never saw him ever abuse any of the animals. never. >> as sad as this story is, there is good news. when rescued in april, porter's body was broke but his spirit wasn't. >> his tale was broken in two places and he was trying to wag it. his jaw was broken and he was trying to lick you through it. >> they adopted him. >> this is the happiest dog i've ever met in my life. he's been a blessing in my life, for sure. >> >> the other dog who survived has also been adopted and is, thankfully, doing well. as for charles palmer, five of the 10 animal crawlty charges he is facing are felonies.

dew point 5 and winds will be changing direction allowing that cooler air to begin to move in. we're in the 50s. 40s in western maryland. that is that cool air starting to push in along with the cool front. waves of showers will push in on and off throughout date today but that main progression comes in late this afternoon and this evening and continuing to the early overnight hours. notice the pink on the map, you can see snow on the backside of the whole thing. that where is they're getting snow in places like indianapolis. still in the single and a few double digits across parts of the rockies, teens in kansas city, look how warm it is hugging the coast in the warm sector of this system. today a cold front will drop in

the area and temperatures will drop and fall. wind shouldn't be too bad, it will be breezy and we will quiet things overnight. we're not going to be getting this wintry mix but low-pressure will develop along the south side of this whole thing and head our way late in the weekend. we could see snow, freezing rain and then rain on sunday and it could make for some treacherous travel from time to time, especially between about 9-a and 6-p. for tonight, rain showers will be expected but it is going to end before you walk up tomorrow. watch for decreasing cloudiness, not a whole heck of a lot. temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s. sunday will be a one tree mix. just rain on monday and we could finish everything some snow showers on tuesday morning and stay much, much colder for the middle of next week. in fact, high temperatures

around the freezing mark. for now, let's go to traffic with amanda. >> already a busy morning commute. major problems for commuters in baltimore. if you're coming down from baltimore on 95, all lanes are shutdown. they were detouring you on cayton avenue, now oning to the bw parkway. be prepared for the detours. all southbound lawns are closed in baltimore. the beltway looks beautiful. route 1 has a new crash. this has all southbound lanes closed between 20th and 23rd so we're going to be keeping a close eye on that one . that could cause major delays even though most commuter traffic is heading northbound. working that construction zone floor edsall. 66 moves nicely in virginia. and we have a live shot to show you current conditions. along georgia avenue in
